"I am happy to write this letter of recommendation for the Innovative Health Strategies Group (IHS). The Ohio State University of Nephrology engaged the services of IHS to help negotiate a joint venture between the Nephrology Division and its outpatient dialysis provider. We worked primarily with Butch Marino from the IHS Group. He was able to navigate the very difficult waters with respect to establishing a partnership between a for-profit dialysis corporation and a non-profit University. This was no simple matter given the complexities and requirements of the University system. Nevertheless, Butch and the IHS Group worked diligently to see the venture though. We recently signed contracts to establish the joint venture, and both parties were very pleased with the outcome.

In summary, I have the highest regard for Butch Marino and the IHS Group with respect to their knowledge of the dialysis business and their ability to negotiate beneficial joint ventures. I would have no hesitation to use IHS in the future for new business opportunities that can incorporate into an academic program, and I would specifically request that Butch Marino be assigned to the project."
